What is The Emotionally Effective Leader course?
If you think of a leader who inspires you the most, the chances are you are not really inspired by their technical capabilities exclusively. It could be the way they engage with people, their empathy, the way they remain calm under pressure or their ability to make quick decisions. All of these attributes have emotional intelligence right at their very core and those which account for nearly 90 percent of what sets high performers apart from peers with similar technical skills and knowledge. While you might excel at your job technically, if you can’t effectively communicate with your team or collaborate with others, those technical skills will get overlooked. By mastering emotional intelligence, you can continue to develop and become an emotionally effective leader.

What is covered?
The Emotionally Effective Leader Workshop is an interactive, one day programme aimed at organisational leaders. Alternating between group activities and individual reflective exercises, this engaging workshop encourages leaders to focus on their leadership strengths and areas they can develop further. Leveraging results from leaders’ EQ-i 2.0® Leadership Reports, participants will learn the importance of emotional intelligence in effective leadership and leave with a better understanding of their strengths and areas to develop to enhance their leadership skills, as well as an action plan on how to increase their own personal effectiveness.

How is The Emotionally Effective Leader delivered?
The course is delivered in-house with a normal group size of 12 people. This can be tailored to meet your needs, with additional facilitators to increase group size. The course can be made up of different leadership levels. Pre and post course measurements will be put in place to measure impact.
At present, we are running this course online with a maximum number of 8 in a group. While we typically run this course in-house, we do from time-to-time run open courses. To find out when our next open course is running, please do enquire below. |
